In June 2024, we had the privilege of catering our first event in London, celebrating and highlighting the achievements of women in the UK and Saudi Arabia.

Female advocacy group Johara Global hosted a beautiful celebration at the Saudi Embassy in London where they invited our Founder, Nawal AlKhalawi and a group of pioneering Saudi women to speak about their experiences in leadership roles.

On the panel with Nawal, they invited Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to ascend Mount Everest; Sawsan Al-Bahiti, the first Saudi female soprano; and Reema Juffali, the first female Saudi motor racing driver.

They discussed about how the narrative of female leadership is evolving in the Kingdom and the wider Middle East. They also shared the challenges they have faced as women, how they overcame them, and how their journeys have helped redefine female inclusion in a society transforming under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

During this event celebrating women's achievements, culture, and art, we were honored to cater to the esteemed guests. It was a privilege to present small delicacies of the Kingdom, allowing guests to savor the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Saudi Arabia.

Chef Nawal’s Saudi contemporary recipes came to life with the support of her catering team led by Lyndy Redding who has 30 years’ experience in executing 5 star catering and dining experiences globally.

These dishes included: Lamb Mutabbag with caramelised orange jam, Kubba Bites with zucchini, zesty yoghurt topped with toasted pine nuts and Banana Ma’asoob with halawa tahina cream and crispy dried banana with fragrant rose.
