In March 2024, The Ministry of Tourism joyously celebrated a momentous milestone, surpassing the mark of 100 million tourists by the close of 2023, a feat achieved seven years ahead of the ambitious timeline envisioned by Saudi Vision 2030.

Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb beamed as he emphasized the accomplishment, exclaiming, "We've warmly welcomed visitors from every corner of the globe to Saudi Arabia, surpassing the 100 million mark with their spending surpassing SR250 billion."
